I was born in Georgetown, Guyana. In 1985, at the age of 4, I immigrated to the United States with my entire family. I grew up in various parts of New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens) and attended the HS of Art & Design in Manhattan.

In my youth I was diagnosed with hyperactive ADD (today it's known as ADHD) and I struggled with attention and socialization. Creativity provided an outlet for me to express myself and soon I became obsessed with making art in all her forms. I'm an autodidact and have taught myself numerous creative skills including: illustration, design, music production, video editing, and more.

I was drawing and writing my own comic books when I was 12. In my teens I picked up a guitar and began recording original music on a 2-track karaoke machine. By the time I was 25 I had recorded over a hundred songs.

After high school I taught myself graphic design and assembled a strong portfolio that landed me a job in 2008 as Visual Designer for the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in NYC. Meanwhile, I continued to learn new skills like motion graphics, 3D design, and sound engineering.

I left MoMA in 2012 with a desire to create more social impact, eventually teaming up with a life coach to launch the start-up where I produced social & emotional learning content for children suffering from anxiety. I wore many hats: voice actor, animator, sound engineer, music composer, and writer, sharing my own experience learning to cope with ADD.

During this time I also began self-publishing science fiction novels: "Emplant" (2012) and "Legend of Black Dove" (2018). I also self-produced 3 albums of original rock music under the name "Proud Fools".

In 2018 I moved to Los Angeles and began working for Fullscreen to create online content for brands like Patron, DC Kids, Barbie, Hot Wheels, and American Girl. I mostly provided animation and illustration but also got to voice Two-Face in a series of Batman toy commercials.

I've been an avid podcast listener since 2008 and during this time I also began using my editing and sound engineering skills as a freelance podcast producer/editor (Delic Radio, BioReset Podcast, A Little Bit of Chill).

I also write/produce my own podcast "Dante's History" which is a deep-dive into the political and historical themes found in Dante's Inferno. I combined all my creative skills to produce something that is both an audio experience and reliable in-depth study guide. My goal is to share the lesser known themes found in the poem with a wider audience and show how Dante is still very relevant today.

In 2020 my screenplay "Emplant" was chosen as a quarterfinalist in the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Competition. I'm currently working on a new screenplay about the Antebellum South and in 2021 I moved to the woods of Raleigh, NC to help me focus on this craft and get a better sense of the culture of the region.

I will continue to write and produce art in various forms with an ultimate goal of making the world a better place through storytelling.
